2008-09 EXTREME FUTBALL CLUB TRYOUTS
The Extreme Futball Club is conducting tryouts for the 2008-09 fall & spring seasons on June 26 & 27. U11-U14 age groups will tryout on June 26. U15-U19 age groups will tryout on June 27. Additional tryout sessions will be announced soon, but it is crucial for players to attend the first tryout for their age group.

All tryout sessions will be conducted at the Owasso Sports Complex. Players must be 10 years old by July 31, 2008 to be eligible to tryout for a competitive team.
The EFC Pre-Tryout Camp will be held June 9, 10 & 11 at the Owasso Sports Complex from 6:00 to 7:30 pm daily for ages U11-U14. Registration is $50. Each camper gets a free t-shirt. This is a great opportunity for those players considering trying out for an Extreme competitive team to get some touches on the ball and get to know the various EFC coaches and trainers.

OWASSO HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER CAMP
The
Owasso High School soccer staff will be
conducting a camp for kids in grades K-8. It will be held at the Owasso high
school stadium. This year they will conduct 2 camps, June 3-6 or June 9-12. You can select the week that is best
for you to attend. Emphasis will be placed on fundamentals and individual
techniques that will help you become a better soccer player. Instruction
will also provide game type situations and small-sided games to help
players understand the basic fundamentals needed in order to compete every weekend or
become a better future Owasso soccer player.
When? June 3-6 and/or June 9-12
Where? Owasso High School Stadium
Time? 9:00 am to Noon daily

"KICKS FOR KIDS" equipment program kicked off during Walk Up Registration in the spring. This program will start back up in the fall during Walk Up Registration and will continue throughout the season. You may to bring your gently used soccer equipment to the Owasso Sports Complex soccer fields once league play resumes.
Simply drop them off at the OSC Concession Stand. All donated items will be distributed to those in need in our community.

A huge congratulations go out to the U7 Owasso Strikers
soccer team on winning the Green Country Scholarship Soccer Tournament with a record of 3-1-0. The Strikers capped off their spring ‘08 season with a 10-0 record. In the fall ’07 season they also
finished with a 10-0 record. Their
tournament record consists of 6-2-2 in 3 tournaments with a 2nd
place in the Broken Arrow Spring Recreational Tournament and 1st
place in the Green Country Scholarship Tournament. Coach Bobby Eldridge
and assistant coach Jason Drake are extremely proud of each and every one of
them.

CHILLFEST CHAMPIONS!
In their very first tournament Thunder captured the U9 Boys Championship and won gold in the Tulsa United Chillfest soccer tournament. Congratulations to coach Robert Allen and all of the boys on a job well done!

CHILLFEST CHAMPIONS!
Winning their 2nd tournament championship of the season, the Owasso Phantoms under 10 Girls soccer team brings home to Owasso the 1st place trophy from the Tulsa Blitz United Chillfest tournament. The team went undefeated in the tournament scoring 21 goals while only allowing 2 goals to be scored against them.

NOKC TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS!
The Owasso Phantoms under 10 Girls soccer team traveled to Oklahoma City September 30 to bring home the 1st place trophy in the very competitive 12th Annual NOKC Fall Kick-Off tournament. The team went undefeated in the tournament scoring 18 goals and only allowing 2. The coaches and parents are very proud of the effort the girls gave at the tournament and continue to give at every game and practice.
Team members are: Breanna, Jordan, Sara, Ana, Emma, Lauren, Breck & Shelby.
The Phantoms are coached by Rick
Laube & John Seals.

U8 GIRLS COME HOME CHAMPIONS!
The Owasso Attack swept the U8 Girls Division of the Fort Gibson Soccer Club's Old Fort Shootout on April 22 & 23. The Attack brought home the 1st Place trophy with a perfect 5-0 record. They won their bracket with victories over teams from Skiatook, Ft. Gibson and Wagoner before moving on to the Semi-Finals with a win over the Ft. Gibson Renegades. The final match was a showdown between the Attack and the Tulsa United Hot Shots with Owasso coming away with the 7 to 5 win!
Congrats to Coach Pankake and all of the girls: Sarah, Lauren, Hollie, Jessie, Dalaney, Piper and Maddie!
